John Fitzgerald

As the founder and current owner of Fitzgerald Financial Group, John Fitzgerald provides individuals and families with comprehensive financial guidance for investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, and other wealth management needs. Although not part of Pegasus, on occasion he collaborates with Adam to support a well-rounded client experience. He founded Fitzgerald Financial Group in 2017 with the goal of offering a local, independently owned alternative to large traditional brokerage firms.  John takes pride in building long-term relationships with clients by understanding their lifestyles, goals, and concerns. He focuses on delivering a personal and customized approach for every family he serves.

John earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Michigan University. Prior to launching Fitzgerald Financial Group, he spent 10 years as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley. His professional licenses and registrations include FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations, along with life and health insurance licenses.

John and his wife, Dana, live in Mullica Hill, New Jersey, with their daughter, Mia. He has served on several local nonprofit boards, currently involved with Brookside at Harrison Homeowners Association, and previously with CompleteCare Family Health Foundation and the Vineland Police Athletic League.

Outside of work, John enjoys traveling, cooking, Philadelphia sports, summers in North Wildwood, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with his family. John Fitzgerald was recognized as a Summit Level advisor for 2025—a distinction based on annual production that placed him among the top 35% of advisors affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network.
